Came here on a whim cause I found it on Google Maps, it’s right by me in JH and I was overdue to remove my acrylics. I don’t even know my nail techs name but she was a gem and absolutely ate downnn I’m so happy. She was super meticulous and caring when handling my nails! She was able to take my inspo and run with it. The place is really charming, it reminds me of family even though I can’t speak Spanish I can feel the warmth in there, it made me feel at home. They offer hot coffee in plastic cups, people come in and everyone is laughing and happy. I’m usually a quiet client but I appreciate the good vibes. I’m excited to come back!

I only went here because the person I usually go to in Astoria was on vacation, and I needed my nails done that day. They get two stars because everyone was very nice, but that was the only good part. The place didn’t seem clean, at first glance. Everything was messy and all over the place. They asked me to pick a color for the powder, and instead of example nails like every other nail salon I’ve been to, they pointed to the wall to pick from the jars, which had a limited selection. The lady that did my nails was very nice but had the longest sharpest nails, which made it difficult to work on my nails, stabbing me a few times in the process. (Her nails are in one of the reviews here so you can see what I mean- you’ll know it when you see it!) I needed tips and they were glued on with glue you’d find at CVS for press on nails, instead of stronger nail glue. When the nails were done I knew they were thin, and I knew they wouldn’t last long. Usually my powder manicures last 3-4 weeks. These photos were taken a week and a half after I went to Nails and Spa Industry. They chipped and broke within days. My usual powder manicures are $40-$45 and last weeks longer. This was $60 and fell apart within days. I wouldn’t go back here again- even in a pinch. You’re better off at any other nail salon.

This was my first time coming here, and I was very nervous about trying a new place. However, the way everyone interacted with one another and made me feel welcome was amazing. Even then, I still felt nervous about the nails themselves, but as soon as they started working, all my doubts disappeared. They were so kind, talkative, and clearly have many years of experience. You can tell they genuinely care about their work and their clients. Since I wanted to try something new, I was very indecisive, but they were incredibly patient with me throughout the process. There was also a girl next to me who was in a rush, and they worked efficiently to accommodate her without being careless or sacrificing quality. Overall, it was honestly a wonderful experience. I will definitely be coming back! (P.S. They also offer manyyy other services that are worth checking out!!)

I absolutely loved my nails! The work was so thorough, clean, and detailed. You can tell they truly care about quality and making sure everything looks perfect. The shape, design, and overall finish came out amazing, and the atmosphere was so welcoming and professional. Highly recommend if you want beautiful nails done with care and attention to detail.

I’ve been a client for 4 years now, and at this point it honestly feels like family. The quality of their work on my nails is always amazing, but what makes it truly special is the kindness, warmth, and genuine care from everyone on the team. Every visit feels comfortable and welcoming, and I always leave happy. Couldn’t recommend them more ❤️
